Celebrating 150 years in 2023!!

The Comox Valley Farmers Institute is among some of the oldest out there!

History has the first iteration of the Comox Valley Farmers Institute dating back to 1872, so we are actually celebrating 151 years in 2023! The November 26,1872 Colonist newspaper states:

“An agricultural society has been formed at Comox, of which Mr. Coleman, J.P., is President”.
